Day 2; group one

They were safe. That's how much they knew - that they weren't stuck in the driving wind and rain, that even though the power flickered it looked like it would stay on. They even figured out the radio system, and for a while - a little while - they could hear the other groups, even though the sound was full of static.

That was before the power bit the big one. They'd thought that this was the chance to not be in the movie, that things were different because there wasn't Samuel L Jackson just hanging around and Dr. Ian Malcolm talking about chaos theory.

But then there's a giant clap of thunder and the power goes out, and they're all just sort of left there - the lights still on so they weren't in the dark, but it was clear they were run on a generator, everything washed out from the spotlights.

Logan paces until it starts to feel weird, tries sitting and can't stay still for more than ten seconds at a stretch. He's looking out the windows, cause this little jaunt to the tool shed [which Abed insists is 'intgral to the plot'] is taking way too long for his liking. Also he can't raise her on the radio, which clearly ain't a good sign.

"That's it." He stands with purpose this time. "I'm goin' after her. Bolt the door once I'm outside."

Stupid to let her go alone in the first place.

Bolt the door? Lauren has seen this film, and she knows that the danger isn't just dinosaurs coming in through the doors. "I'm sure she's fine," she says, voice shaking slightly. "Why don't we just give it a few more minutes?"

"Troy says he's coming with you," Abed tells Logan, looking back from Troy and at his mutant friend. "The raptors can't touch him. I hope Caroline wasn't the Samuel L. Jackson of our movie."
